Flagged conflict. Quartz wrote that McDonald's and The Pokémon Company announced the November 5 to December 9 window. Vice said those dates come from PokéBeach. This check found no McDonald's newsroom release, so the dates are filed as reported.

Flagged conflict. A third-party checklist named specific cards and a window of October 28 through December 8, 2026. That roster and those dates are not in Quartz or Vice, so they are not on this page.

Test markets

  • United States

As of October 27, 2026, Pokémon Happy Meal card prices vary by location. The cards are reported as part of a Happy Meal, and no national Happy Meal dollar was published for this promotion.

Has McDonald's confirmed it?

Not on a newsroom page this check could find. A search of the McDonald's newsroom for a 2026 Pokémon Happy Meal returned no release.

Quartz, updated September 28, 2026, wrote that McDonald's and The Pokémon Company announced a U.S. Happy Meal promotion. Vice, the same day, said the dates come from PokéBeach, which first reported the promotion. Those two accounts do not match. This page treats November 5 through December 9 as a reported window, not as a newsroom confirmation.

Release date

  • Reported start: Thursday, November 5, 2026.
  • Reported end: December 9, 2026.
  • Market in both stories: United States.
  • Quartz, citing Dexerto, said other countries are expected and that no foreign dates were confirmed.

Card list

The card list is not published.

Vice said there is no confirmed roster of which Pokémon appear on the 15 cards. Quartz did not name the cards either.

What the reports do describe

  • A 15-card set.
  • Six cards with a confetti holofoil finish.
  • One four-card pack in each Happy Meal.
  • One holo card and three non-holo cards in that pack.
  • A tie to Pokémon's 30th anniversary, in the Quartz account.

A third-party checklist posted names and a different window, October 28 through December 8. Those names and dates are not in Quartz or Vice, so they are not filed here.

Quartz, again citing Dexerto, said a guest can choose a Pokémon toy or a Pokémon Essential Handbook at order time. The same paragraph said it is not confirmed that the toy is a card display, or that the art is new. Those lines stay attributed to that report.

Price

No pack price and no Happy Meal price were in the stories checked on October 27, 2026. Drive Thru Index's October 26 insights file did not publish a Happy Meal median for this promotion. The cards are described as something that comes with the meal, not as a pack sold on its own.

What this page will not do

  • It will not copy resale prices from older McDonald's sets.
  • It will not turn one restaurant's Happy Meal into a national price.
  • It will not invent a dollar for the toy or the handbook.

Near me

No store list was published.

  • The reports say participating U.S. restaurants.
  • Vice said availability can differ by location once November 5 arrives, and that a guest should ask the restaurant.
  • International timing was not confirmed.
  • The McDonald's app is the way to see whether a chosen restaurant is ringing the meal that day.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • The reported dates, the 15-card count, and the four-card pack are consistent in Quartz and Vice.
  • Both stories say the full roster is not the point yet. Vice says it has not been revealed.

Cons

  • McDonald's had not posted a newsroom confirmation as of this check.
  • Prices vary by location.
  • A circulating checklist used different dates and is not filed.

How it compares

  • McDonald's McRib

The McRib also says prices vary by location. McDonald's described that sandwich to USA Today. This card pack does not have a matching newsroom post in this check.

  • Burger King Hello Kitty and Friends King Jr. Meal

The Hello Kitty King Jr. Meal page has published meal prices. This Pokémon pack does not have a published Happy Meal dollar.

Is it worth it?

Use this page for the reported 2026 Pokémon Happy Meal cards. Do not use it as a receipt or as a confirmed newsroom launch. Prices vary by location, and the card list was not published.
