Chicken Tinga

Chicken Tinga is a limited-time flame-grilled chicken in a savory, smoky sauce made with fire-roasted tomatoes, onions, peppers, and spices. Chef Katy Velazquez, vice president of culinary innovation, said the idea came from travel in Mexico, where the dish was cooked from scratch in a family home. The release calls Qdoba's version a smoky, savory take for cooler weather.

Guests can add it to a burrito, a bowl, nachos, tacos, a kids meal, or Loaded Tortilla Soup. Create-your-own entrées can take the chain's usual toppings, salsas, and sauces, including free hand-crafted guacamole and Signature 3-Cheese queso or spicy Queso Diablo. That free portion is the company's standing create-your-own line. It is not a separate coupon price.

The about section says guests also build quesadillas and salads. The comfort-season instructions do not name those two formats for this chicken, so this page does not add them.

Tortilla Soup

Tortilla Soup is the returning seasonal item. The broth is vegan and is made with tomatoes, onions, garlic, poblanos, bell peppers, and jalapeños. A cup is topped with sour cream and tortilla strips. Sour cream means the topped cup is not the vegan broth by itself.

Loaded Tortilla Soup is an entrée in a crunchy tortilla shell bowl. Guests add a protein, including Chicken Tinga, and toppings. The release says the soup is limited and is at participating locations. It does not give a last day.

Chick-fil-A sells a different chicken tortilla soup with its own calories. Those numbers are not this soup.

Queso Fundido

Queso Fundido mixes Signature 3-Cheese Queso, seasoned ground beef, picante ranch, and cilantro. It can be a side with freshly fried tortilla chips, part of a meal, or a catering add-on. The named catering options are a Chips and Dip Party Pack and the Catering Hot Bar. The release calls the dip recently launched, not a same-day debut in the same breath as the chicken.

No dollar, no calorie count, and no end date were in the November 3 release. Qdoba says it has 885 locations in 46 states, plus Canada, Puerto Rico, Japan, and South Korea. That count is not a list of restaurants that have the chicken. Participating locations and a limited time both apply.
